Overview for the Spectra Focus 6W 5 Second Winterized Reflectorless Total Station

For operation in the most extreme cold temperatures, the Spectra FOCUS 6W Winterized Reflectorless Total Station (5-Second) with on-board data collection software provides surveyors with comprehensive tools to perform stakeout and layout jobs with ease. With high-clarity optics and superior performance in bright and low light conditions, this survey equipment delivers accurate distance and angle measurements. It also has integrated Bluetooth for connecting to data collectors and a large internal memory for saving files. With its compact and lightweight design, this device is the ideal choice for surveying in cold environments.

Reliable Measurements in Extreme Cold

Working in as low as -22°F (-30°C) temperatures, the Spectra FOCUS 6W’s powerful EDM provides  long-distance reflectorless measurement range of 1,640 feet, reducing the need for multiple set-ups and approximately 16,400 feet using a single prism. This optical instrument also includes a coaxial laser pointer to assist with target identification and reduce aiming time.

With 10,000 points of internal memory, the FOCUS 6 total station easily stores all your field data. This land surveying tool also has a tilt sensor and dual-axis compensator for perfect leveling and comes standard with a traditional optical plummet for device centering and stable angle measurements.

Reliable with an Impressive Battery Life

Featuring a single black and white LCD display and alphanumeric keyboard with large user-definable keys, the Spectra FOCUS provides easy and quick access to the most common function, allowing surveyors to increase productivity in the field. Meeting IP66 standards with water and dust-proof protection, this field instrument is rugged and can operate in virtually all types of weather. It supports two interchangeable batteries that provide up to 31 hours of continuous measurements.

Compatible with Spectra Data Collectors

The Spectra Precision FOCUS6 has intuitive on-board software that is easy-to-use. However, if you want to make this total station even more powerful, you can connect it via RS-232C serial port or Bluetooth to Spectra field controllers, such as the Nomad, Recon, Ranger, MobileMapper or T41 powered by Survey Pro data collection software to maximize performance in the field. .

This Spectra total station package comes with tribrach, plastic carrying case, two rechargeable batteries, power cord and adapters, universal charger and a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.
