Powerful Performance in Extreme Cold
The Nikon Nivo 5.MW operates in as low as -22°F (-30°C) temperatures with its high precision EDM that provides a long-distance reflectorless measurement range of 1,640 feet, reducing the need for multiple set-ups and approximately 16,400 feet using a single prism. This optical instrument also includes a coaxial laser pointer to assist with target identification and reduce aiming time.
With 10,000 points of internal memory, the Nivo M easily stores all your field data. This land surveying tool also has a tilt sensor and dual-axis compensator for perfect leveling and comes standard with a traditional optical plummet for device centering and stable angle measurements.
Nikon Survey Software
Nikon Survey software has an intuitive and easy to learn user interface that includes a complete set of COGO and survey stakeout functions, simple data management, and quick field coding for convenient one-button data collection of point features and raw target data. Supporting both prism-based and reflectorless technologies, this field software takes advantage of the Nivo M Series’ MSR1 and MSR2 keys, which can be used to separately configure different prism or reflectorless measurement parameters, eliminating time switching between measurement modes.

Featuring a single black and white LCD display and alphanumeric keyboard with large user-definable keys, the Nivo 5.MW provides fast and easy access to the functions that are used the most. With this functionality, survey tasks can be performed more quickly and efficiently, allowing surveyors to increase productivity in the field. Meeting IP66 standards with water and dust-proof protection, this field instrument is rugged and can operate in virtually all types of weather. It supports two interchangeable batteries that provide up to 31 hours of continuous measurements.
Compatible with Spectra Data Collectors
With RS-232C serial and integrated Bluetooth capability, this survey total station supports cable-free connection with Spectra data collectors, such as the Nomad, Recon, Ranger and T41.
This Nikon total station package comes with tribrach, plastic carrying case, two rechargeable batteries, power cord and adapters, universal charger and a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.
