Overview for the Spectra UL633 Universal Grade Laser
The Spectra UL633 is the first construction grade laser that offers full automatic control of the X, Y, Z axes. With long range operation up to 2,600 feet, this rotary laser provides precise automatic axis alignment, PlaneLok and grade matching capabilities. It also includes an HL750 laser receiver that provides digital readout and offers basic and advanced leveling and aligning applications.
Total Control of the Three Axes
With self-leveling accuracy of 1/16th inch and fully automatic to +/-25% grade on all X,Y and Z axes, the versatile UL633 is suitable for both simple and complex grade and concrete work. This Spectra laser facilitates control of the Z axis via automatic detection of the plumb beam, while control of the X and Y axis utilizes a dual radio connection.
It also features automatic axis alignment that enables construction professionals to align the laser to within +/-40° at the desired axis to easily perform axis alignments in general construction, site preparation, road construction and machine control. You can also mount this device on a 5/8-11 tripod in a vertical or horizontal position.
Spectra HL750 Laser Receiver
The included HL750 laser receiver provides a digital readout of elevation and features an anti-strobe detector that prevents false readings from site strobe lights. The readout is displayed on its large front and rear LCDs and shows exactly how far the elevation is from on-grade. Accurate measurements can be made without moving the rod clamp and selectable units of measure can be displayed in millimeter, centimeter, feet, inches or fractional inches.
Wireless communication between the HL750 laser detector and the UL633 laser provides automatic grade matching, which allows measurement of unknown grade values between two points. For applications that require maximum stability and accuracy, the PlaneLok feature is available in both horizontal and vertical planes and automatically locks the beam on the receiver and keeps it on grade, reducing typical environmental factors that may cause an error.
The UL633 incorporates automatic temperature and grade compensation for high accuracy in any weather or geographical location. Mask mode eliminates interference and allows the use of multiple lasers onsite, while electronic leveling vibration filter reduces vibrations typically experienced on tall tripods, in high winds or on high vibration jobsites. This laser level also includes a combined radio and infrared RC603 remote control with a built-in backlit, graphic display that allows you to control the laser up to 330 feet away.
With an IP67 rating, the UL633 is sealed from moisture and dust and is built to survive a drop of up to three feet high on concrete. This dual grade slope laser works up to 35 hours using rechargeable NiMH batteries and approximately 40 hours using alkaline batteries.
This Spectra universal grade laser package comes with an HL750 laser receiver, RC603 remote control, rod clamp, hard carrying case, rechargeable NiMH battery pack, charger and a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
