Overview for the Leica Rugby 320 Grade Laser

The Leica Rugby 320 is a single grade construction laser with real-time grade matching to easily match existing slopes. With an operating range of almost 1,500 feet, this automatic rotary laser is compatible with a wide range of machine control solutions. It includes a Rod Eye Plus laser receiver for outdoor use, with three different accuracies and nine arrow display channels. This Rugby level laser is rugged, accurate and comes with a NiMH battery pack that powers up the device up to 100 hours!

Self-Leveling and Grade Matching

The Leica Rugby 320 laser has a single grade capability of -5 to +25% in either axis and has a self-leveling accuracy of 1/16th inch per 100 feet.

With 4 rotating speeds and a large, backlit, graphic display, the Rugby 320 provides easy grade entry by selecting the axis, then pressing up or down to enter the required grade. You can also press the Star button to open the menu and change settings.

Leica Rod Eye Plus Receiver

The Rod Eye Plus is the ideal tool when you want to use the Leica Rugby 280DG outdoors. With a working range of up to 1,500 feet, this laser receiver only detects the Rugby ignores the flash from interfering strobes on the job.

This laser detector boasts three different detection accuracies – fine, medium and coarse. The nine-channel arrow display and audio output provide the user with all the information needed to lock on the laser beam. It has two, large graphic displays and three LEDs that can be used as a reference for the receiver’s position. The Rod Eye Plus also has a detection height of two inches and a versatile rod bracket to secure mounting to both square and oval rods.

More Features

Beam masking allows construction professionals to turn off the laser beam to prevent interference with other operations on the job. Grade changes can be set and locked in the menu to prevent error. This Leica dual grade laser also alerts the user if the device has been moved or bumped and self-levels within +/-5 degrees.

Rugged with Superior Battery Life

The Rugby 320 has high-impact composite housing with protective rubber over-molding for maximum protection. And with an IP57 rating, it is water resistant and dustproof to work reliably in all weather and job site conditions. This dual grade slope laser has a power-saving mode that enables longer operation up to 100 hours using NiMH batteries.

This Leica dual grade laser package comes with a Rod Eye Plus with bracket, carrying case, NiMH rechargeable battery pack, charger, AC power cable and a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.
